Loughmiller Motors

IT DOES RUN & DRIVE. It was originally red and white, now black & white, 4-cylinder, 3-speed, like new tires, excellent glass all around w/no fogging. The black & white vinyl front seat is a split bench and the rear seat back folds down for added access to the trunk. The trunk floor is 100% solid and the deck lid latch works, but no key to lock it. The floorboards are in need of patching. The spare is in its factory position right on top of the rear bumper and attached to the back of the car. The headlights work as do the park-lights. It has blinkers, but at present time they do not seem to work. It does need either a kit for the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder or the system properly bled ??...as time permits I will address the necessary repairs to get the clutch to where it operates as it should. Presently you can start the car in gear and syncro-shift into the other 2 gears. The chrome bumpers look great at a couple of feet back and all of the cars chrome is in place on the car. The body looks great at a few steps back but it does have a few small areas of localized rust. It has wipers, but I have not checked to see what is needed to make them work. The headliner is white, intact and nice w/ no rips or tears; the sunvisors are nice also. This is a hardtop car, and the top is NOT removable. This little Nash is perfect for that Saturday evening ice cream run to your favorite spot. Lots of "cute as a bug" charm w/this little Metropolitan.
