1966 CHEVY CAPRICE 2-DOOR HARDTOP
2-DR. HARDTOP RUNS AND DRIVES VIA A GEAR DRIVE SOLID LIFTER SMALL BLOCK (W/DOUBLE HUMP HEADS) MATED TO A POWERGLIDE AND A 12 BOLT POSI. THE BRIGHT RED PAINT LOOKS GREAT---IT SHINES LIKE A CAR ON THE AUCTION BLOCK AT A BARRETT-JACKSON AUCTION. THE SHIFTER HAS BEEN COVERED W/A PERIOD CORRECT CONSOLE. The 15" raised white letter tires are mounted on aftermarket alloys. The front and rear bumpers are in great condition and the shine from the chrome will knock your eyes out. There's a lot of little loose ends that need tied up to make his car a really neat cruiser. ALL OF THE GLASS IS GOOD AND THE FRONT WINDOWS CRANK UP AND DOWN JUST FINE---THE BACK WINDOWS ARE POWER, BUT I HAVEN'T CHECKED THEM OUT AS TO WHY THEY WON'T WORK. THE BLACK VINYL BUCKET SEAT INTERIOR IS COMPLETE W/NICE BLACK CARPET AND NICE BLACK VINYL HEADLINER.

The floorpans have been patched in a very solid as is with the trunk pan. I did drive the car in 5 miles from where I bought it and it will need carburetor/timing adjusted... But keep in mind it sat for several years before I jumped in and drove it away. The taillights and brake lights seem to work when they want and they too will need some tinkering...it's usually just the sockets that are not getting a good connection. THE CAPRICE WOULD MAKE A GREAT WEEKEND CRUISER W/ALL OF ITS STYLE AND SLEEK LOOKS.
