1972 CHEVY MONTE CARLO
Gold, ivory vinyl interior, V-8, 350, auto, 2 door, a/c (no compressor nor brackets - but everything else for AC is there)
Runs and drives great w/original 350 V-8 and automatic---column shift, A/C (complete--minus compressor), excellent body w/only minor localized rust being under the 3 1/2" wide rocker molding on the front fenders (those two small areas are located @ the very lowest fender flag areas and right under the 3 1/2" wide rocker moldings) and it has nearly perfect original quarters w/the original trunk splatter inside the trunk, perfect floor pans and trunk pan, excellent frame, 7" x15" ralley rims w/good tires, all glass is good with the exception of a small crack in the windshield, it's missing the lower 7'x3 1/2" chrome rocker moldings from both sides, complete interior with tears in the drivers ivory vinyl bench seat, the head liner and sun visors are good with only minor headliner sag at the very rear, perfect dash pad, gold carpet(original)needs replaced, all the windows crank up and down with ease, the 350 is fed via a 4-barrell carb and the exhaust is handled through a completely new exhaust system which includes coated headers and big 3" dual pipes running thru Flowmasters and exiting just under the rear bumper, almost all exterior trim surrounding the original vinyl top comes w/the car---(also the vinyl top trim retaining studs are all intact and in place). Most of the original windshield and back glass trim is also included---I'll check to see what pieces are missing and report my findings back to this ad at a later time.
The car was last set up for 20 inch or bigger rims and it has professionally welded-in spacers under the back coil springs, and I checked out the front suspension set up and it seems to be original---but the frontal stance seems to be taller than the factory stance. The added rear coil spring perches could be removed to lower the rear of the car to its original stance.
