1972 CHEVY MONTE CARLO
Bright blue w/custom ivory vinyl bucket seat interior w/automatic console. This is a running & LOT driving project car with loads of potential. It has rally wheels and good tires at all four corners. Good glass an excellent chrome front and rear bumpers. This was originally a vinyl top car so/and it does have some rust around the bottom of the rear window (pan area) and it comes with a new pan for that section . I was told the engine is a crate motor from another vehicle put into this vehicle and the engine has new 2 1/2" exhaust front to rear w/new Flowmasters style mufflers. It does need paint and interior TLC.
The 350/350 combo will lot run & drive only and will run & drive to load the car. This is because at some time the car was stored without antifreeze in below-freezing temps and the block is cracked. We have patched the block with JB Weld on the outside and filled the engine w/antifreeze and we have "lot run" the '72 with the radiator cap off to keep the pressure off the cracks. This would be a great car for an LS swap or replace the block only and drive the car as you finish it the way you want. By the way, the cracks appear to be external cracks only and there are no signs of any water in the oil. See Tom for more info.
